Breathe.

Spend a few minutes today resting, giving yourself time to breath.

Meditation might be a word which immediately puts you off, or perhaps you've tried it before and found it difficult - but as a practise, you can start weaving in even just a few minutes here and there and see the benefits.

This simple 1 minute breathing exercise from Headspace is a wonderful, light and simple introduction - and if nothing else, it'll give you a few moments to step back from what you're thinking about today, and create a small moment of space for you.

A large part of our mission is about creating space and time for you, the freelancer, to take care of yourself. We know how challenging, busy and stressful working for yourself can be, and prioritising self-care is hard - so we try and help put you on your to-do list.
